교독문 - 제 119번 성탄절(1) Christmas(1) (한글, 영어)

여호와의 영광이 나타나고 
And the glory of the LORD will be revealed,

모든 육체가 그것을 함께 보리라 이는 여호와의 입이 말씀하셨느니라
and all people will see it together. For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.”

베들레헴 에브라다야 너는 유다 족속 중에 작을지라도 
“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah,

이스라엘을 다스릴 자가 네게서 내게로 나올 것이라 그의 근본은 상고에, 영원에 있느니라
out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.”

이는 한 아기가 우리에게 났고 한 아들을 우리에게 주신 바 되었는데 
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given,

그의 어깨에는 정사를 메었고 그의 아기의 이름은 기묘자라, 모사라, 전능하신 하나님이라
and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,

영존하시는 아버지라, 평강의 왕이라 할 것임이라 
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

그 정사와 평강의 더함이 무궁하며
Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end.

또 다윗의 왕좌와 그의 나라에 군림하여 그 나라를 굳게 세우고 
He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing

지금 이후로 영원히 정의와 공의로 그것을 보존하실 것이라
and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever.

천사가 이르되 무서워하지 말라 보라 내가 온 백성에게 미칠 큰 기쁨의 좋은 소식을 너희에게 전하노라 
But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.

오늘 다윗의 동네에 너희를 위하여 구주가 나셨으니 곧 그리스도 주시니라
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.
